After nine years with Yamaha and Valentino Rossi, Davide Brivio finally leaving Yamaha and will replaced with Massimo "Maio" Meregalli, Yamaha World Superbike team manager who will work together with Wilco Zeelenberg 'to form an experienced and unified management team for 2011 and beyond'.
Brivio, who most recently held the position of team manager for Valentino Rossi's side of the Yamaha garage, will leave his position following the Valencia season finale – although there has been no news on where he will now go.
Brivio is going to turn manager like Carlo Pernat, but has confirmed that he hasn’t made any deals with Valentino Rossi (Brivio brought Rossi to Yamaha) to follow him to Ducati in the near future, but hopes to still collaborate with his former rider and his company VR/46.
