This was the shows biggest surprise. Nobody was really expecting a range of concept bikes . . . certainly not from Guzzi and good old Pierre Terblanche, the father of many loved and not-so-loved Ducatis. He was called to collaborate on the project with current Piaggio head of design, Miguel Galuzzi. Based on the current 1200 cc cam-in-head mill, the three bikes share the same aluminum frame (two castings welded at the center). The red V12LM (for Le Mans) is the sporty one, the green V12X is a big supermoto of sorts, while the silver V12 Strada is the only one with room for a passenger (and therefore the one that could be closer to production). Nice to see exciting stuff on the horizon from Guzzi. A brand that really deserves more success.
